I'm so thrilled to be sharing today's guest post by the super talented Natalie Cox! Natalie's interiors are so beautifully designed, and she has mad colour and pattern mixing skill!

Here's Natalie's post on how to style a beautiful home office!

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about creating beautiful and functional office spaces. I have many friends and colleagues that work out of their home and it’s so important to create a space that you are inspired to work in. When Christine asked me to design a room inspired by one of her gorgeous prints I knew exactly what to do.

To make the print pop off the wall I chose a rich green/blue colour called Dragonfly by Benjamin Moore. This deep tone would give the room a rich library feel. A wood bookcase filled with books and light coloured accessories would add to this look perfectly!

When I sit down to design a room the first thing I decide is what is the “Wow” in the space. In this case it would certainly be this lovely print, closely followed by the faux roman shade. Then items are layered in for balance and function.

What does your office space look like? Please share something you are inspired by!
