She really connects with the people she photographs, and captures the moments when they connecting together as a couple, mother and child, the love between siblings... She captures the truth, even if it's messy, even if it isn't perfect, Melanie finds the beauty in the every day moments that we share together.
The M's in the logo are connected, representing the way Melanie connects with her camera. The colour pallet is classic with serene additions, such as the lovely light blue. The pop of yellow adds vibrancy to the brand, and allows for a nice bright contrast to the moody blues.
The minimalist look that Melanie was searching for is achieved with light and simple lines in the M, as well as very simple and modern typography to complete the look. The typical cliché camera is not part of this photographers brand, as we really wanted to focus on the aesthetic and feeling she searches for in her photos.
Getting to work with talented women entrepreneurs and artists is one of the best parts of my career. I love being able to help these women create a visual identity that captures who they are as a business, but also who they are as people, their style and aesthetic.
