FAQ for Silk Ribbons

Will the color of the ribbon I receive be perfectly uniform?

Each ribbon is beautifully unique, as they are all dyed by hand. We believe in the beauty of the organic, textural feel of each ribbon. We take care in making each ribbon as uniform as possible, however slight colour variations should be expected.

How much ribbon do I need for my bouquets?

To achieve the elegant and romantic look for your bridal bouquet, a full 5 yards is preferred. Most florists require 2.5 yards ber bridesmaid bouquet.

Shipping Policies

All of our products are made to order. The production time for silk ribbons is 5 business days.

A limited number of custom orders can be filled each month. Please email us at lafabere@gmail.com with the products you are interested in. Include your mailing address and the date you need the products by and we will get back to you with a rush shipping quote. 

How will my parcel be shipped?

We ship via Canada Post and FedEx as standard mail which does not include tracking. If you require expedited shipping with tracking please email lafabere@gmail.com before placing your order.

Do you offer returns or refunds?

Since each order is custom made, all sales are final.

Notes on colour

We have done our best to represent the colour of each ribbon as best we can for screens. The photos were taken in natural light to provide as accurate of a colour representation as is possible on computer and phone screens.

I don't live in Canada, can you still design for me?

Working with people around the globe has become so easy lately, and we LOVE that! Using various tools like FaceTime, Skype, Pinterest & email, LaFabère is able to work with people not only across Canada, but across the world! These tools enable us to easily establish the exact look you are looking for your wedding invitations, branding, etc. We respond to messages promptly to ensure client satisfaction throughout the design process.

How much does an Invitation Package cost?

Each Wedding Invitation Package we design is unique and customized for the couples we work with. You will never see your invitations used by anyone else, the design is created just for YOU and YOUR day. Send us an email to receive our package pricing sheet. Once a design and printing style is selected, we take care of getting cost estimates for printing and manage everything, so all you have to do is mail them out to the guest list you've pored over for hours.
